Please join us Thursday, March 22, 7 p.m. for a free showing of the film “Food, Inc.” presented by Brownwood Area Community Garden.

This riveting and insightful documentary examines corporate farming in the United States, concluding that “agribusiness produces food that is unhealthy, in a way that is environmentally harmful and abusive of both animals and employees."

“Food, Inc.” is the first in a series of six food- and environmental-themed films to be presented by the Garden. Other films in the series include “An Inconvenient Truth” April 26; “Vanishing of the Bees” May 24; “The Garden” June 21; “Botany of Desire” July 12; and “Fresh” Aug. 16.

All films will be shown at 7:00 p.m. at the Central Texas Opportunities offices, 1500 Dublin St. Admission is free. For further information, contact garden coordinator Daniel Graham, 325-641-9029.
