Plan to have lunch while you shop the Cowtown Farmers Market on Tuesdays in downtown Fort Worth.
Two vendors serve lunch:
Hot Tamalez with fresh, hot tamales in beef, pork, cheese & jalapeno, black bean & corn and more. Hot Tamalez offers some varieties in spicy versions, and sells their own freshly made salsa.
Chef Leith Caddell of Trophy Chef says Tuesday's menus will include BLTs (fresh baked sourdough bread, applewood bacon, farm-fresh tomatoes, lettuce & mayo); roasted corn on the cob with assorted seasonings; frozen sweet tea garnished with Parker county peach half; and hand-dipped ice cream and yogurt. http://www.trophychef.com
Our vendors will have fresh, local vegetables and fruit; cut flowers and plants; soap and bath products; cakes; and bread and baked goods. We're open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Tuesday in Federal Plaza Park at 1000 Throckmorton St.
Everything sold at Cowtown Farmers Market must be grown or made within 150 miles of Fort Worth.
