On our farm, we don't use growth hormone implants or routine antibiotics. We are striving to be a non-certified organic, sustainable, grass-based family farm with a focus on quality Grass-Only beef, Grass-Only lamb, Grass-Only goat and Sustainable, Pastured pork produced from heritage livestock breeds. Our farm is not only using heritage livestock as a conservation effort, we utilize these breeds for their ability to produce a quality product on a pastured and grass-based farm. Currently we utilize the following breeds: Red Poll Cattle, Murray Grey Cattle, Irish Dexter Cattle, Myotonic Meat Goats, St. Croix Hair Sheep, and Red Wattle Hogs. All of these breeds need interest and conservation, so to learn more about them just do a Google Search or log on to www.albc-usa.org.
Our cattle, hair sheep, and goats are raised on an all-forage diet in a managed grass pasture system, and they receive No Grain in their diets. The hogs and chickens are raised on soil and pasture with grain as part of their diet, but no GMO Soy or GMO Corn. We believe this produces a superior product for human consumption, is better for the animals' health, and we believe it is how God intended ruminants to be raised.

We are currently offering our own pasture raised beef, pork, lamb, and goat meat, as well as pastured chicken raised by Windy Meadows Family Farm, another local family owned and operated farm. We also offer local honey from Desert Creek Honey which is produced on our farm and other local Fannin, Grayson, Hunt, and Collin County farms by Blake Shook, a beekeeper from Blue Ridge, Texas.
Our meat market is located on our farm in Dodd City, TX. Visits by appointment, Monday thru Saturday. Please call ahead, we are a working farm! We are located 2.5 miles West of Dodd City, TX and 2.5 miles East of Bonham, TX at 3385 E. State Highway 56. Look for our sign and a red brick farmhouse with a green roof surrounded by barns and pastures on the North side of the highway. We are around 32 miles West of Paris, TX, 27 miles East of Sherman, TX, and 1 hour North East of DFW Metroplex.
