Allow me to personally thank you for your interest in supporting our own area's local agricultural producers. I am quite certain when I say that you and your family would benefit as well. My first name is Penny. My personal agribusiness, Squeezepenny Sustainable Farm, hosts our Squeezepenny CSA program. My family and I are very proud to be one of our Squeezepenny CSA Co-Producers. This small family farmer, a rural Collin County resident for over 30 years, realizes that we all promote ourselves whether in our own industries or areas of personal interest. In this instance I believe our efforts should be directed towards one anothers' benefit and well-being (social responsibility).
"Care to give it a go?" is how we began in the end of June 2009.
"Let us give it a go!" is where we are now January 2010.
"Let us keep it going!"" is where we are headed.
We are currently accepting applications and prepayment of Share(s) for new members to join us in our Squeezepenny CSA Spring 2010 Season. The fresh produce distributions for that plan are tentatively scheduled to begin in Mid-March. Initially our program is set up on a bi-weekly basis. Our prepaid One (1) Share contains six (6) bi-weekly distributions at the cost of $120.00. Therefore each One (1) Share's distribution has been assigned a prorated $20.00 value. A distribution of One (1) Share contains approx. 8 varieties of fresh produce (based on availability).
Our Annual Squeezepenny CSA Charter Membership fee is $60.00, 1/2 due upon joining and the 2nd half due 5/17/10 and is in addition to your Share(s) cost.
We have several members that purchase 1 & 1/2 Shares (in that case, a distribution would contain approx. 12 different varieties). Some members purchase Two (2) Shares and pick up two (2) distributions (every other week).
We also have several members that purchase Two (2) Shares in order to pick up one distribution each week that we offer to meet during our 12-week plan.
Our Squeezepenny CSA 12-week plans offer year round support of the area Local Farmers, Ranchers and Producers. Reaching out to work with our current suppliers of Fresh, Healthy, Locally Grown, Raised and/or Produced Texas Agricultural products such as: vegetables, herbs, fruits, meats, dairy, poultry, farm fresh eggs and etc...while sprouting our own new producers along the way!

Vegetables, Fruit, Grass-fed Natural Meats,
Natural Free-Range Chicken Eggs,
Honey, Pecans, Texas olive oil,
Texas olives and flavored vinegars.
