At Uncle Cliff’s Farm, we grow angus beef without the use of growth hormones or steroids. Our animals live in a free-range environment on naturally fertilized pastures.  In winter months our herd is fed grass hay grown right on the ranch. In warmer months they graze on a diet largely consisting of Bermuda grass, and year round are offered a free choice of a protein supplement. Our calves, once weaned, are offered a free choice of creep feed as well, a grain based feed. Our animals are treated humanely and with the respect they deserve.

La Cima Ranch, where Uncle Cliff’s Farm is located, has been a family owned  cow-calf operation since 1993. In that time we’ve had several breeds and crossbreeds of cattle in our herds, but are now strictly growing angus beef. We believe, along with many others, that angus beef is just better beef. The marbling tends to be a little better and the flavor and texture is second to none.

What Uncle Cliff’s Farm is offering is the chance for people to come out and see where their beef is grown, to develop a relationship with the rancher and to stock their freezers with high quality angus beef grown with no hormones or steroids at affordable prices.
